The English title is "The Battle of the Sakarya." Unlike newer puzzles from the brand, the pieces are a bit thin and loose fitting, but they are of good quality overall.

On the 31st of August, Türkiye celebrated Victory Day, signifying the end of the Turkish War of independence. This inspired me to begin work on this, which portrays the battle that turned the tide in that war. The battle took place around 50km where from I live today.

Sakarya Meydan Savaşı is a monumental panoramic depiction of the decisive 1921 battle of the Turkish War of Independence. Created from sketches by Turkish artist Aydın Erkmen and developed with a team of Russian and Azerbaijani artists, the approximately 30-metre-long panorama combines historical reconstruction with dramatic visual storytelling. Cavalry, infantry, artillery and commanders are brought together across an expansive battlefield, conveying the scale and intensity of the conflict. The panorama forms part of the permanent collection of the Atatürk and War of Independence Museum at Anıtkabir in Ankara.
