This is an earlier release, so it has a high gloss finish. I worked on this off and on when taking breaks from the garden. It was difficult until I had about half of the pieces placed, but then it went quickly.

Near the Lake is an intimate Impressionist scene by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, painted in 1879–1880. A man and young girl relax beside a lake beneath a leafy shelter, surrounded by the greenery and atmosphere of a Parisian park. Renoir combines the quiet everyday moment with his characteristic interest in light, colour and informal modern life. The precise location depicted has never been established, although the Bois de Boulogne in Paris is considered a strong possibility.
