This is one of many great puzzles produced by Springbok back in the day. The colors are marvelous, and despite being only 500 pieces, the difficult random piece cut with many split knobs made this a joy to build.

Marco Polo Departing from Venice depicts the beginning of one of history's most celebrated journeys of exploration. In 1271, the young Venetian merchant Marco Polo set out for the East with his father and uncle, beginning a remarkable journey that would eventually take him to the court of Kublai Khan in China. The scene captures the excitement and uncertainty of departure from medieval Venice, evoking a world of merchants, ships and distant lands. This vintage 1968 Springbok puzzle offers a colourful interpretation of a journey that helped shape Europe's understanding of Asia.
