The overall quality was great, typical for Clementoni. My only issue was that the background wasn't as red as the original work, so I guess I need to acquire the Springbok version, which is more vivid in my opinion. There was also a duplicate piece left over, so someone got an incomplete puzzle.
The Lady and the Unicorn is one of the great masterpieces of medieval art. Created around 1500, this remarkable series of six tapestries depicts a noblewoman accompanied by a lion and a unicorn amid richly detailed backgrounds filled with flowers and animals. Five of the tapestries represent the traditional five senses—Touch, Taste, Smell, Hearing and Sight—while the mysterious sixth, À mon seul désir, has inspired debate for centuries. Preserved today at the Musée de Cluny in Paris, the series remains celebrated for its extraordinary beauty, symbolism and enduring sense of mystery.
